HGH comments: This late owner of a small dairy is relatively unknown as an artist. Sahne Schroeter had two hobbies: painting, and painting buildings in Berlin that had to be demolished as a result of war damage. A history is attached to the back of each work giving the addressees and date the building was destroyed. On the bottom right is the Berliner Bear, Berlin’s trademark animal.
