HGH comments: Amanda is Argentinean, she lived in Ibiza with her painter husband. I would call her up and see her occasionally. I met the artist in 1979 in Ibiza at an exhibition promoting her work, she was very young at the time. I bought all my pieces from her on separate occasions.
Her style is obviously very influenced by a study of Henri Rousseau’s work. Amanda is a prolific producer and although united by style her subjects are of a great variety. The examples speak for themselves. The one I think is the best is this one.
